Neil Patrick Harris starred in a television movie Debbie Reynolds.
It was in 1998 and Harris played Reynolds’ grandson.
‘It was almost 20 years ago and I was inspired by her back then because she had done Singin’ in the Rain,’ Harris said Monday (9 January) on The Talk.
‘I just wanted to hear stories about that,’ Harris said of the classic 1952 musical that made Reynolds a star.
‘She was saucy and was great,’ he said. ‘I would laugh and laugh … and she would tell all these amazing stories and (be) entertaining the crew.’
